Unwalled
A photography project
Gneiss is a metamorphic rock, one of the oldest rock form in the world.
Melted, contorted and broken. Mixed with intrusions of other minerals, it forms coloured bands and reflective grains. It is interspersed with white quartz.
The beach at Tigharry crosses a fault line, exposing a wide range of lines, shapes and colours.
